Hello Loocie,

Recently I found your blog because i'm learning how to do make a betfair bot on C#. I see that you have a tutorial for beginners like me. i've downloaded your project and took a look on everything. i'm absorving all the information but i cannot advance further because you stop precisely on how to connect with betfair API. I added the web references like you did on your project but how do i associate them with the forms? Did you continue writing the tutorial or you stop it at all?

Hi skit,

Thanks for dropping by. The system I wrote about a few months ago is still running nicely.
Just to clarify I did not gather people for beta testing, I offered them using the system with real money.
I got a lot of emails from other people who are also able to place bets at the bookmakers, but do not have the time to do the system full time.
So I decided to work something out for people who do not have the time for doing it full time.
There are two systems, one for full time and one for part time.

We are more on the backing side, but recognise that the future is in bot placemnet.

It's not necessary to program on language like C#. One just need skills to work with command-line and tab-delimited text files. For more details please visit http://klabor.com.

The above post is genius, so she has only been on betfair for 2 months but is paying 4.2%....she must be a massive player.....and what chance us poor buggers of actually winning...you only pay the 20% if you are winning, so a good chance I'd say........people who write this kind of drivel really need never worry about premium charges!

Ich arbeite schon am nächsten Artikel. Dort wird es richtig spannend, da es nun endlich an die Betfair API geht.

Yes it's still java with a mysql database running on mac osx.
I still have a lot of things to fix, error handling when the betfair api is unavailable, internet problems and stuff like that.
The bot is only running when I'm around, I hope to leave it on 24/7 one day and do different types of sport.

I'm going to use the database to store the prices during the last 20 minutes before the race and backtest new 'systems' on that data.
